Half Tree under the spotlight

The artist under the spotlight for this week’s episode of Blazin’ Reggae Vibes is the 7 piece reggae combo, “Half Tree”. This reggae group is only a few years old, formed in 2015 and hailing from Boston, Ma. They have emerged on the scene with a unique sound full of conscious and uplifting vibrations that is recognized by reggae dj’s on various radio stations and their growing fan base.

 

Clean Rootz

Half Tree’s latest album, “Clean Rootz” really caught my attention after listening to the tune “East Coast Green”, which I have played numerous times on my radio program Iyah Music on 89.9 FM, KUNM, Albuquerque, NM. As a matter of fact that particular song has been requested by a few listeners.

Other songs from the album, Lion Hearted (feat. Lion Riddims), Ambience, New Day Bad Man (feat. Zenyth), Save The World, and “Pass Me The Ganga”, are some of my favorites. The single “Pass Me The Ganga” is a collaboration with National Recording Artists, New Kingston.
