Irie Still is a afrobeat and reggae music band playing conscious and uplifting music.

The Irie Still Band

The Irie Still band was founded in 1995 and fuses a variety of the Caribbean music genre’s into their music. The group resides in Denver, Colorado and they’re very active in the community. They have been performing in the state of Colorado for over 25 years.
Irie Still’s music consists of many original tunes. The band’s style steeps in danceable beats of reggae, afrobeat, calypso, ska and soca. Hip-hop, dancehall, tribal rhythms are also included in their music. The southwest with its native american culture can also be recognized in their music. It is impossible for listeners not to dance Irie Still’s unstoppable force of music.
Over their career Irie Still has shared the stage with many international artists. Some of the artists include Burning Spear, Black Uhuru, and Toots and the Maytals. They have opened for Culture, Israel Vibrations, Dub Syndicate, and many more. Jimmy Cliff, Pato Banton and Yellowman can be included also.
 
The band’s has two full-length studio albums out, as well as many singles and videos. Their self-titled album, “Irie Still” was released on the Distrophonix record label. “Revolution Time” was also released on the same label.

RONNY NOEL – Founder and Spokesman for the group

 
Ronny Noel is the founder and frontman for the group Irie Still. His roots are in Trinidad and Tobago where he started performing on stage at an early age. Since his early childhood Ronny has traveled the world in great capacity. He is a singer, songwriter and percussionist with a charismatic showmanship on stage. He is proficient in African, Caribbean, and Latin drums and other percussion instruments.
 
His performance can be credited to his early training in the performing arts which began at the age of nine. The spiritual side of his personality comes to light in his daily activities. The people in his circle describe him as being a very generous person.
 

Ronny draws enthusiastic music lovers to his show on a consistent basis. Strong social convictions, belief in humanity, and spirituality fuse together with his performance.

Ronny is the focal point of Irie Still. He commands the stage and invites the audience into the experience. Irie Still helped lay the foundation for what is now a booming reggae scene in Denver and in Colorado as a whole.
